The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, Cup, have dropped its trailer today (September 13) ahead of its theatrical release. The sports drama has playing Mathew Thomas the lead role. Sanju V Samuel is the director of the movie. The screenplay is written by Akhilesh Latharaj and Denson Durom.
The two minute and 46 second video starts with Guru Somasundaram's character speaking about his children to an acquaintance, which lasts for two minutes and forty-six seconds. Viewers eventually learn that his son Nidhin is a budding badminton player who aspires to be a professional athlete. His family believes he would one day make them and their village, Vellathuval, in Idukki, proud, and they support him in his aspirations. In this movie, Namitha Pramod plays his badminton coach. There had not been any new details released about the movie after it was announced the previous year. The date of its theatrical premiere was recently announced by the makers, nevertheless. On September 27, Cup will be shown on big screens throughout the state. There are currently no other Malayalam films scheduled for release on that day.
In this much awaited feel-good movie, the female stars are Anikha Surendran and debutante Riya Shibu. Anand Roshan, I V Junais, Altaf Manaf, Mridul Pachu, Ranjith Rajan, Chembil Ashokan, Alvin John Antony, Nandu Poduval, and Anandritha Manu are among the supporting cast members. Alphonse Puthran, Allwin Antony, and Angelena Mary have bankrolled this movie under the banner of Ananya Films.
The film will include six songs composed by Shaan Rahman and written by Manu Manjith and Arsi. There are suggestions that an old song will be reworked and included in this movie. Magic Frames will present the film in cinemas. The film's editing was done by Reckson Joseph, while Nikhil S Praveen is the cinematographer.
