Custody actor Naga Chaitanya praises Shaakuntalam star Samantha as a lovely person

Naga Chaitanya is all over the news these days as he is promoting his new film Custody in an aggressive manner. The way he is talking about his ex wife Samantha has also caught the attention of one and all. In one of his interviews, Naga Chaitanya says Samantha is a lovely person and he always wishes for her happiness.

Chay as he is fondly called says that it has been over a year since he has divorced his wife and it is not good on the part of the media to keep bringing back that topic and ask him questions related to his divorce. Samantha on the other hand, also spoke about how she was cornered in life at one point of time during the release of Shaakuntalam.

Shaakuntalam was Samantha's biggest flop and she was trolled badly for choosing such a bad film. She went underground for a bit and then flew to London to work on her Hindi project Citadel. Shaakuntalam was directed by Gunasekhar and is supposed to be out on May 12th on Amazon Prime.

The film was a period drama and close to 60 crores were spent on this film by Gunasekhar and Dil Raju. The film opened to a very bad talk and the makers advanced the OTT release date as well. On the other hand, Chay Akkineni has also put his fingers crossed as he too needs to score a hit under his belt.
