The bilingual musical video Daare Leda/Vaanam Thoandraadho (Tamil and Telugu), a brainchild of actor Nani, honouring the relentless efforts of the frontline workers during the COVID-19 pandemic is a hit with netizens. Featuring the lead pair of Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya - Satyadev and Roopa Koduvayur -, the video highlights the many sacrifices of an overworked doctor couple who barely get time to meet each other during the pandemic, thanks to their strenuous work shifts. Just the time they plan to take time off to celebrate their anniversary together, the news of the husband testing positive for the virus reaches home. Even in that hour, the couple gives priority to their duty primarily.
Daare Leda/Vaanam Thoandraadho weaves in many elements into the video - be it the absence of any me-time for the couple beyond work, the insults that they need to face while discharging their duties and the battles they need to fight to live in their own houses. The video brings together many popular social media posts, videos to stress the same and the ending couldn't have gotten any better, with Nani making a special appearance for a few moments suggesting the respect that the medical fraternity deserves.
Roshan Sebastian has crooned for the number, while Manoj Poduri and Sumanth Prabhas have written and directed the same. KK and Madhan Karky have penned the lyrics across the Telugu and Tamil versions with Aditya cranking the camera. Prashanti Tipirneni and Anurag - Sharath have jointly produced the video in collaboration with Chai Bisket and Lahari Music. Daare Leda, trending at the top position on YouTube, is already nearing the 2 million mark, and Vaanam Thoandraadho is set to hit the 1.5 lakh mark shortly. The 8-minute-long music video is aesthetically shot, packs in an important message without getting too preachy.
