For Netflix, and their audience, February ended on a very high note as they released one of their most anticipated shows. And the best part is, it even managed to impress a whole lot of people. We are talking about Dabba Cartel, that hit the streaming platform on February 28, 2025, and is already the talk of the town. The show, headlined by Shabana Azmi and a gang of good actors, managed to find an audience, and the buzz around it was good in a single day. About a drug cartel that operates under the guise of a tiffin service, there is so much to be excited about. But wait, in case you haven't seen the show already, we would suggest you go back and come once you have binge-watched all the seven episodes because we discuss spoilers beyond this point.

Dabba Cartel Ending Explained

In the final act of Dabba Cartel, in Episode 7, we see Chacko bringing all the women to his mansion, where he takes two hours of their time to convince them to work with him. Initially, what looks like a cordial order soon turns lethal, and Chacko goes on to reveal his true colors. The women are slowly forced into succumbing to the offer, but Raji, played by Shalini, does not abide by his game and chooses to go against him. However, he plays his trump card as he reveals that it is not Sheela, but Moushumi, who is Hari’s (Raji’s husband) mother and then gives Raji a gun to kill Moushumi. If she fails to do so, he will kill Hari.

Raji ends up killing Moushumi and returns home. In the end, as we see them all returning to their respective homes, Sheela Baa can be seen processing it all after losing her best friend. Mala is also scared about everything but also strong, Shaheeda deletes Preeti’s number because Varuna advised her to cut ties or else it is not going to be a merry end for either. Varuna, shocked by the trauma, returns home too. Raji, on the other hand, is in PTSD from killing her mother-in-law. She goes to wash her blood-soaked saree and takes out all the fear, anger, and grief on it.

But where is Hari? We see that he discovers the money and also the truth about his parents when he goes to Baa’s room. There is a possibility that he went away in rage and might return in some time. It is also possible that Chacko took him away since he had his men stationed outside their home anyway. Or maybe a new player in the game took Hari as bait to manipulate the ladies. Only Season Two can tell what exactly happened.

Will Dabba Cartel Have a Second Season?

The makers are yet to confirm whether they will bring back the team for Dabba Cartel Season 2 or not, but there is enough room left for one. The first season ends in a way that it seamlessly leads into the second season because it is mostly used as a base to set up the high drama that is still loading. There is so much to be explored about Sheela Baa, aka Kashi’s, past. Shalini Pandey’s Raji has killed someone, and now she must work for a drug cartel to save the others around her. Anjali Anand’s Shaheeda deletes Preeti’s (Sai Tamhankar) number from her phone, hinting at cutting romantic ties with her to save her.

On the other hand, Preeti is joining the dots to find out how Shaheeda and Varuna (Jyothika) are linked because she saw the common bag at Varuna’s boutique and now wants to know what is cooking. Pathak (Gajraj Rao) has decided that Modella and Meethai (the drugs Dabba Cartel makes) both have a similar chemical and that someone from VivaLife is involved. It won’t be long before Preeti and Pathak join the dots. So there is so much for Season 2 that even the makers would want to explore. An announcement is due, and no one knows when it will be made.

About Dabba Cartel
