Actor Hrithik Roshan is often lauded for his impeccable dancing skills and Greek god-like facial features. After making his debut with father, Rakesh Roshan’s 2002 film Kaho Naa..Pyaar Hai, the actor featured in blockbuster films such as Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Dhoom 2 and Koi Mil Gaya. With a career spanning more than two decades, the actor has garnered a massive fan following but did you know that his first ever photoshoot happened on a terrace? Celebrity photographer Dabboo Ratnani has revealed that the actor did not create a fuss and shot the photoshoot under a tiny shade during a rain outburst.
During an ‘Aske me anything’ session of Reddit, celebrity photographer, Dabboo Ratnani was asked if he ever had to cancel a shoot because of weather. Replying to this, the photographer shared an early anecdote from early days of Hrithik’s career and said that it started pouring unexpectedly during his first ever photoshoot and they managed to shoot on the terrace, under a tiny shade and got fantastic results. He also added that the actor did not mind getting soaked and there was no fuss about it. He is amazing even today. Love his enthusiasm and professionalism.
The photographer shared another anecdote from Hrithik’s early shoots in 2007, which he termed “challenging”. He said, "There was a shot with Hrithik where he was reading a newspaper and fell in a pool while he was doing that. Very interesting and challenging. It was for my 2007 calendar." Dabboo had shared the BTS pictures from this shoot on his social media handle in August 2020, featuring Hrithik diving into the pool.
"There are so many to choose from… But on the top of my mind, Hrithik pops up… He is truly fantastic & creative with photoshoots," Dabboo said when asked about his favourite celebrity and who he enjoys shooting with.
In 2022, Hrithik was seen alongside Saif Ali Khan in Vikram Vedha which proved to be a dud at the box office. He is now gearing up for the shoot of his next film, War 2, which is a sequel of his 2019 film War. The Sidharth Anand directorial featured Tiger Shroff and Hrithik in lead roles.
