Adivi Sesh is one of those actors who take a lot of time between films. He has been stuck with his new film, Dacoit, for the last two years, and now, the film has finally locked its release date.
Dacoit locks its new release date
All these days, reports claimed that Dacoit would hit the screens in December 2025. But the makers have shocked everyone as they have postponed it to March 2026. The makers today revealed that Dacoit will now hit the screens on March 19, 2026.
A swanky and stylish new poster featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur was unveiled today, and it looks striking. The film is filled with action blocks and has a key role for Mrunal Thakur.
Directed by Shaneil Deo, the action drama made headlines when Shruti Haasan walked out of the film, citing creative differences with Adivi Sesh after shooting a major portion. She was replaced by the in-form Mrunal Thakur, which is one of the reasons Dacoit has been in the making for so long.
Produced by Nagarjuna Akkineni under his Annapurna Studios banner, the film is backed by Supriya and is being made on a decent budget. Dacoit is also special as it marks the Telugu debut of Anurag Kashyap, who plays the main villain.
