It looks like Preethi Asrani, who shot to fame with her splendid performance in Ayothi has signed her next. According to a report by ETimes, the actress is all set to team up with Dada actor Kavin in the film, which will be helmed by dance choreographer Sathish. The film will mark Sathish's debut as a director.

Though earlier there was a buzz that the film had been dropped, it looks like the project is now indeed going on floors. The team is also said to have borrowed the title from director Mysskin as they believed that no other title could do justice to the plot. The shooting is likely to begin by the end of this month. The rest of the cast and crew are yet to be announced.

Kavin has been basking in the success of Dada, which had its television premiere recently. The coming-of-age romantic comedy marked the directorial debut of Ganesh K Babu. The film starred Kavin, Aparna Das, VTV Ganesh, Aishwarya Bhaskaran and Bhagyaraj and revolved around single parenting. Dada was lauded for sending out the message that parenting was gender neutral. The film is currently streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Preethi Asrani shot to fame, after her fantastic performance in Ayothi, which was helmed by newcomer Manthira Moorthy. The film had Sasikumar, Preethi Asrani, Yashpal Sharma, Kalloori Vinoth, Bose Venkat, Thaman Kumar, Pondy Ravi and Pugazh in the lead. The plot delved into patriarchy, the man-made differences based on caste, creed and religion and that humanity was above all. The film was released on the occasion of Pongal and is currently streaming on ZEE5.

Kavin also has another project in his kitty, which will be helmed by Elan of Pyaar Prema Kadhal fame. It looks like the actor will begin work on the film after he wraps up the project with Sathish.
