​The team of Dada are indeed on cloud nine after the feel-good emotional drama has been receiving accolades for its story and performances. As the film sets the cash registers ringing in the theatres, the entire team met Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan after the film was declared a success. The meeting happened in Chennai and the entire team including the film's director Ganesh K Babu were present at the do.

The director, who has made his debut with the film, said that meeting Kamal Haasan was like going back to school and meeting his master. He shared a series of pictures of the team with Kamal Haasan and captioned it, "Felt like being back in my mother’s womb! @RKFI is the first rock upon which I’m building my church on! Thank you so much @ikamalhaasan sir for your time and words! Longing for this my whole life forever grateful Went back to school and met my Master (sic)!"

In the meantime, Kavin called Kamal Haasan a temple and shared pictures of him with the Indian 2 star. The star cast for the film includes Kavin, Aparna Das, K Bhagyaraj, Aishwarya Bhaskaran, VTV Ganesh, Pradeep Antony, Arvind Ezhilarasan, Harish K, to name a few. The plot revolves around a young couple Manikandan (Kavin) and Sindhu (Aparna) who are madly in love. However, things go awry when the Sindhu gets pregnant and Manikandan circumstances lead to him raising his child alone. Actor Arjun Nandakumar's son Iyal plays the son of Manikandan in the film.

The film has music by Jen Martin. While the cinematography is by Ezhil Arasu K, editing is by Kathiresh Alagesan. The film has been bankrolled by Olympia Movies and distributed by Red Giant Movies. Kavin had stated in a video that the film reflected his dream of 12 years and asked the audience to watch it patiently with their entire family.
