Actor Kavin's last outing Dada sure seems to be going places. The film won a lot of appreciation from the critics and the audience for its subject and performances. The feel-good emotional drama revolves around a single father who struggles to raise his only son. Dada is directed by debutant Ganesh K Babu and features Kavin and Aparna Das in lead roles.
Raghava Lawrence, recently happened to watch the film and said that he was emotionally touched by the film. The Chandramukhi 2 actor wrote on his social media page, "I watched Dada movie and I am emotionally touched. A perfect family film for everyone to watch at the theatres. My best wishes to producer @ambethkumarmla sir. A well written and executed film by director @ganeshkbabu! Great performances by @Kavin_m_0431 @aparnaDasss.”
It was not long ago that Leo director Lokesh Kanagaraj was all praise for the film. The director, who is currently busy with the shoot for Leo, wrote, "Hearing a lot of positive things about this film #Dada congrats da @Kavin_m_0431! Wishing all the very best to the entire team of #Dada (sic)."
The entire team had met up with Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan as well after the film's success. Kavin had dropped pictures from the meeting and he had called Kamal Haasan a temple. In the meantime, the film's director Ganesh Babu, who had earlier worked with Kamal Haasan's production house Raaj Kamal Films International wrote, "Felt like being back in my mother’s womb! @RKFIis the first rock upon which I’m building my church on! Thank you so much @ikamalhaasansir for your time and words! Longing for this my whole life forever grateful Went back to school and met my Master! (sic)."
In the meantime, director Rajesh M Selva threw a dinner party for the team. Thanking the director for being his mentor, Ganesh K Babu wrote, "Thank you for shaping me to what I’m today @RajeshMSelva na Hope we made you proud and owe you a lot. Thanks for the dinner na Thanks for everything Guru (sic)."
