The most prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards ceremony was recently held at Mumbai's Taj Hotel. Apart from Bollywood films and actors, the movies and artists from across the country received the reputable award in their respective fields. Meanwhile, both Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani bagged the Critics Best Actor/Actress award for their film Shershaah.

Sidharth’s performance in the biographical war film has created many milestones and garnered appreciation from audiences and critics alike. 

The Bollywood actor shared the good news via his Instagram handle and also thanked Dadasaheb Phalke International Film festival Awards 2022 for their gesture. "It was such an honour to play the role of Capt. #VikramBatra, one of the youngest brave hearts of the Indian Army. A big thank you to Vikram Batra’s family for trusting us.

Allu Arjun starrer pan-Indian movie Pushpa: The Rise won Film of the Year Award. Meanwhile, Film Mimi won Kriti Sanon the Best Actress award, while Ranveer Singh bagged the Best Actor award for the biographical sports drama film 83.
