Dahaad teaser: Sonakshi Sinha, as a cop, investigates the deaths of 27 women in the chilling crime series

The fascinating teaser for the new criminal thriller Amazon Original series Dahaad has been released today on Prime Video. Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar conceived the show, and she co-directs it with Ruchika Oberoi. The executive production team for the Excel Media & Entertainment and Tiger Baby film Dahaad includes Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar, with Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah, and Sohum Shah serving as the main actors. Starting on May 12, Prime members will be able to stream the series.

Sonakshi Sinha makes her digital acting debut in Dahaad, in which she portrays a tough female officer who works to crack a grisly murder case. Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati and her coworkers are the subjects of the eight-part crime drama, which is set in a small town police station. It all begins with a slew of curiously discovered deceased women in public restrooms. Anjali Bhaati, a sub-inspector, is charged with conducting the inquiry. The murders at first seem to be obvious suicides, but as the cases develop, Anjali starts to worry that a serial murderer may be on the loose. As she gathers evidence before another innocent woman loses her life, a skilled criminal and an underdog cop engage in a gripping game of cat and mouse.

According to co-producer Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment, the real stars of the crime thriller are Dahaad's gripping plot and outstanding acting. Reema and Zoya's vision for the universe of this narrative demanded grit and coherence, and they excelled at providing both. After the successes of Made in Heaven, Mirzapur, and Inside Edge, they are sure to create a thunderous roar with yet another successful partnership with Prime Video and give audiences across the world a chance to immerse themselves in yet another exhilarating journey.

Reema Kagti, the series creator, director, and co-producer, said that experiencing Dahaad has been really fulfilling. Sonakshi, Vijay, Gulshan, and Soham have expertly brought to life this series, making it immensely meaningful for all of them.
