The Sonakshi Sinha starrer Dahaad is the upcoming crime drama series on Amazon Prime Video. Created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, it also stars Vijay Varma, Gulshan Devaiah and Sohum Shah in pivotal roles. The makers have finally unveiled the official trailer of the show which seems quite intense and gripping.
Dahaad trailer begins with Sonakshi as a police officer along with her colleague, played by Sohum and her senior (Gulshan) interrogating a few men in a case of a missing woman. Moving on, the three police officers can be seen discussing how the two cases look so similar. Post that, a few more missing followed by suicide cases come into the hands of these cops, who seem quite delved into the investigation.
Moving on, Vijay enters the montage as a potential suspect in all the serial suicides, which now look like serial murders. Sonakshi explains to one of her senior officers how the death of 27 girls seems like one person's job, to which the latter disagrees. Towards the end, the three police officers with their team nab multiple people as potential suspects including Vijay being one of them.

The official synopsis of Dahaad unveils that a lot of women are found dead in public bathrooms one by one within a span of a few months under mysterious circumstances that pushes a team of police officers to dive deep into the investigation of the serial murders that seem like suicides at first. Sub-inspector Anjali Bhaati with his colleagues and seniors is on the run to nab the master-mind cold-blooded serial killer on the loose.
Directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, the gripping crime-drama web series is bankrolled by Ritesh Sidhwani, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti, Farhan Akhtar, Kassim Jagmagia, Angad Dev Singh and Sunitha Ram under Excel Entertainment and Tiger Baby Films in association with Amazon Prime Video.
Dahaad, which also has Manyuu Doshi, Yogi Singha, Sanghmitra Hitaishi, Ratnabali Bhattacharjee, Nirmal Chiraniyan, Vijay Kumar Dogra, Abhishek Bhalerao and Ahmed Zaidi in supporting roles, releases on Prime Video on May 12.
