Dahaad Twitter Review: Sonakshi Sinha-Vijay Varma starrer receives heaps of praises with minimal criticism

Starring Sonakshi Sinha and Vijay Varma in pivotal roles, Dahaad narrates an incident that jolted the lives of people living in the state of Rajasthan. The story dates a few years back wherein several women were found dead in public bathrooms under mysterious circumstances. However, as days progressed, localities felt that these incidents were a series of planned murders. What’s next?

To restore peace in the state, eminent police officer Anjali Bhaati (i.e., Sonakshi Sinha) has been assigned a case, which gets complicated to solve as mysteries unfold. The death first appears as suicide, but as the investigation progresses, Bhaati realizes that there's a serial killer on the loose.

This latest thriller is created by Reema Kagti, and Zoya Akhtar, and directed by Reema Kagti, and Ruchika Oberoi. Sonakshi’s powerful performances in action sequences and Vijay’s mysterious look on his face keep viewers hooked on the screens till the end.

Notably, this web series is the first ever Indian web series to premiere at the Berlin International film festival, where it will compete for Berlinale Series Award. The show will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video on May 12.
