The first look of Jitendra Kumar-starrer Dalimb is here, and to say that the actor is unrecognizable is an understatement. The actor, who plays the role of Suraaj in the intense thriller film, is sure to leave you curious about his character. PS: It hints at being more layered than even Bhagwat – Chapter One: Raakshas. Here’s everything you need to know about the project…

Jitendra Kumar is unrecognizable under the elaborate makeup and attire of a traditional folk performer—likely inspired by the Yakshagana or Theyyam traditions of India. His face is painted in bold shades of red, black, and white, with an ornate, towering golden headpiece decorated with intricate carvings and red floral accents.
Dalimb is the Marathi term for pomegranate. Interestingly, the pomegranate tree is also often associated with life after death, as well as passion, one or both of which could be the theme of the upcoming film on Zee5 (OTTplay Premium).
While speaking about his movie in a press statement, Jitendra Kumar said, “When I heard the narration of Dalimb, I was drawn to its honesty and the depth of the character. Suraaj is layered with a very different graph and I feel that the audience will really connect with it.”
Also featuring Priya Bapat, Kshitish Date, Kavin Dave, Sai Prasad, Harish Kulkarni, and Sagar Yadav, in pivotal roles, Dalimb has been written and directed by Priya Aven. The film is produced by Atul Kasbekar and is scheduled for an OTT release in late 2026.
