Jitendra Kumar is unrecognizable under the elaborate makeup and attire of a traditional folk performer—likely inspired by the Yakshagana or Theyyam traditions of India. His face is painted in bold shades of red, black, and white, with an ornate, towering golden headpiece decorated with intricate carvings and red floral accents.
What does Dalimb mean?
Dalimb is the Marathi term for pomegranate. Interestingly, the pomegranate tree is also often associated with life after death, as well as passion, one or both of which could be the theme of the upcoming film on Zee5 (OTTplay Premium).
