Dangerous Waters is an American mystery-action-thriller directed and written by John Barr. It stars Odeya Rush, Ray Liotta, Eric Dane, and others. Sadly, Ray Liotta, one of the most recognized actors in Hollywood, passed away during filming. This led to last-minute changes to the movie, but Liotta's brief appearance in a negative role was outstanding in many ways. Now, the movie is all set to be available in Hindi as it is soon going to be released on an OTT platform.

Dangerous Waters plot
In Dangerous Waters, Odeya Rush played the role of Rose while Eric Dane was seen as Derek, and Ray Liotta was the Captain. The film begins with Rose and her mother, planning a trip with the latter's recent boyfriend, Derek. Rose doesn't want to be the third wheel on the trip but since her mother is so eager for her to meet Derek, she can't refuse the offer. Derek has planned ahead of them and this is to spend in the middle of the ocean without getting bored at all. However, Rose does not feel at all safe with this plan as she is afraid to be in the water at first. Meanwhile, Rose learns that Derek used to be a police officer, and now he works as a security consultant. One night, while Rose is sleeping, she hears a noise on the deck.
When she looks outside, she sees a couple of men arguing with Derek, leading to her mother's death and Derek being shot. The strangers try to burn the boat. However, after they leave, Rose somehow puts out the fire and hangs in there.
Rose finds pictures of the men who attacked that night inside the cabin. She sees Derek hanging out with the men in those images. She suspects him. Still, Derek is her only hope to survive this desperate situation. Derek tells Rose how he went into business with the men who attacked them that night. He tells her about the Captain who found himself surrounded by young women.
Once a delightful trip turns into a dark one after Rose discovers Derek's dark past. After saving herself from Derek, Rose comes across a ship, thinking that she has been rescued but little does she know that she is close to meeting the person who killed her mother, the Captain.
Dangerous Waters was released in 2023. The psychological thriller film is about a sailing trip that turns into a nightmare. Now you can watch it on Lionsgate Play from January 3 and also with your OTTplay Premium subscription.
