There has been a massive audience eagerly anticipating the return of Daredevil to the world of streaming—this time in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and not on Netflix. However, what makes it even more exciting is the fact that the MCU show, titled Daredevil: Born Again, will pick up from where the Netflix series left off. Now that the show has premiered with its first two episodes, audiences are hooked and craving more. As we await the release of the third episode, here’s a quick recap of what has happened so far and everything else you need to know about the show.
Daredevil: Born Again Recap
Smoothly transitioning into a new phase, Daredevil has left behind the mantle and is now embracing his life as Matt Murdock. He is making peace with the idea that Hell’s Kitchen—and New York at large—will have a new savior, and he no longer needs to suit up. However, sometime after the events of Daredevil Season 3 (from Netflix), a night in Hell’s Kitchen turns tragic enough to force him back into his Daredevil persona—one last time. This time, the target isn't him but someone he loves, and the enemy succeeds in their mission. So now, Matt has left Daredevil behind for good. It has been a year since that tragic night. Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, is now a changed man who aims to become the Mayor of New York and eradicate vigilantes who wear costumes and call themselves saviors (You better watch out too, Peter Parker!). This includes Daredevil—but, of course, it won’t be that easy. But wait—is that White Tiger being framed for a crime he didn’t commit by the police? Matt must step in to save him now.
The Release Schedule
New episodes of Daredevil: Born Again release every Wednesday in India at 7:30 AM. The show debuted in the country on March 5, 2025, and will conclude with its ninth episode on April 16, 2025.
About Daredevil: Born Again
In Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again, we witness Matt Murdock, a blind lawyer played by Charlie Cox, who possesses heightened abilities and also operates as a part-time vigilante fighting for justice through his bustling law firm. However, he has decided to put his vigilante alter ego on hold and is now focusing on his life as Matt Murdock. Meanwhile, Wilson Fisk, the Kingpin, is now the mayor of New York and is determined to put an end to vigilantes. But neither man can escape their past, and as their old conflicts resurface, an inevitable collision is set in motion—one that will ignite sparks for all of us to witness.
The series also stars Margarita Levieva, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Henson, Zabryna Guevara, Nikki James, Genneya Walton, Arty Froushan, Clark Johnson, Michael Gandolfini, with Ayelet Zurer and Jon Bernthal. Dario Scardapane serves as the showrunner of Daredevil: Born Again. It is set to premiere on Disney+ and Disney+ Hotstar in India from March 4, 2025.
