Check out the release date, trailer, and other plot details below.

When and where to watch Dark Harvest

Dark Harvest premiered in October 2023 and, in the same month, landed on the streaming platforms in the US. However, the exciting news is that it will now be unveiled in India as well in the coming week. Dark Harvest will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video from February 16 onward. Since it is releasing on Friday, it makes for an intriguing watch for the weekend.

Dark Harvest plot and trailer

Acclaimed horror director David Slade’s newest venture, ‘Dark Harvest', is adapted from an award-winning novel. It revolves around a dark curse that needs to be prevented to save the townspeople.

In the trailer that was released nearly four months ago, we witness the crisis looming over the townspeople. Set in the 1960s rural town of Bastion (Illinois), the spooky festival of Halloween marks the dreary return of Sawtooth Jack, a mysterious creature that targets harvest and claims lives. This led the community to come up with an alternate plan in which teen boys take part in an annual chase to draw the masked creature in a church. If they fail in the quest, the entire town and harvest bear the loss.

Whether it’s the slow-moving cornfield chase or the unknown killer’s brutality, the spookiness promises to pique interest. The narrative is adapted from a best-selling novel and is also spearheaded by a talented director of the horror genre David Slade, who earlier helmed Twilight Saga: Eclipse and Hard Candy. Dark Harvest is an eerie weekend watch that gives thrills and chills simultaneously.

Brace yourself for the dangerous quest as it unveils some dark hierarchical secrets on February 16.
