Dark movie out on OTT: Tamil film undergoes name change for Telugu streaming
Black is a mystery thriller film directed by Balasubramani KG in his debut. Apart from Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar, Black also stars actors Vivek Prasanna, Yog Japee, Sha Ra, Swayam Siddha in prominent roles.

The film released on October 11 last year, and following the theatrical run, made its streaming debut on Prime Video. Now, the film has begun streaming in Telugu with a new title. Black is now called Dark if you would like to stream the film in Telugu. The movie features Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar in their maiden onscreen collaboration and features them as a couple who face mysterious circumstances during their weekend getaway.
What is story of Black/ Dark?
Black is a 2024 Tamil sci-fi thriller drama headlined by Jiiva and Priya Bhavani Shankar in the lead roles. It revolves around a couple who decide to spend time at their peaceful row house on the outskirts of the city. However, following a violent storm, mysterious events begin to take place, and the couple must race against time to understand what is happening around them.
The technical crew consists of Sam CS scoring the music and Philomin Raj handling the edits. Gokul Benoy has cranked the camera. Black is bankrolled by the Potential Studios production banner which has made films like Maya, Maanagaram, Monster, Taanakkaran and Irugapatru. The film opened to mixed reviews upon its release.
