Darling Krishna will soon be back on the big screen with yet another romantic comedy. The actor will be headlining debutant Naidu Bandar's Mr. Bachelor which is all set to release in theatres - the team took to social media recently to announce that the film will release theatrically on January 6.
Mr. Bachelor follows the protagonist, played by Krishna, who is on the hunt for the woman of his dreams. It is during this desperate attempt to find love that he meets the film's leading lady, played by Nimika Ratnakar. In a recent interview with a media outlet, Nimika shared that she plays a 'modern girl' in the film who has a strong relationship with her family and that her on-screen chemistry with Krishna's character will include many funny sequences. Darling Krishna plays an IT engineer in the film.
To make things more exciting for the audience, the makers have roped in Milana Nagaraj, Krishna's real-life partner, to play a special cameo role in the film. Milana, while not disclosing much about the story, shared in the same interview that her character is mistaken for someone else in the film by Krishna's character.
The trailer of Mr. Bachelor is expected to be soon. The team has launched two singles from the album, namely the title song and Subbalakshmi (sung by All OK). Manikanth Kadri has scored the music.
Darling Krishna would certainly hope that the audiences respond well to Mr. Bachelor, especially having encountered back-to-back box office failures recently. Having gained a lot of popularity with the success of Love Mocktail, Krishna would go on to sign a number of romantic comedies and a majority of them ended up failing commercially. Aside from Mr. Bachelor, he has Sugar Factory, Love Me or Hate Me, and Love Birds slated to release in 2023.
