Darling Krishna, who has been on a signing spree since the success of his directorials, Love Mocktail and Love Mocktail 2, recently wrapped up one of the many films he is committed to. This week, Krishna completed Sugar Factory, which is directed by Deepak Aras, and has Sonal Monteiro, Shilpa Shetty and Advithi Shetty as the three heroines. The film also stars Rangyana Raghu, Shashi Kumar, Pavan S Narayan, Govinde Gowda, and Suraj Kumar, among others.

Sugar Factory is Deepak’s second directorial, after the 2010 Manasology. The film was shot across multiple schedules over 55 days in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Goa and Kazakhstan. Produced by Girish R for Balamani Productions, the film has music by Kafir Ravi, and features songs written by the likes of Jayanth Kaikini, Yogaraj Bhat, Chandan Shetty, Chethan Kumar, Arasu Anthare, Raghavendra Kamath and Ghouse Peer. The film has dialogues by Yoganand and Chethan Kumar, while Santhosh Rai Pathaje fills in as cinematographer. The songs have been choreographed by Dhananjaya, while stunt master Arjun took care of the action pieces in the film.

Krishna, who was last seen in the much-delayed Local Train, is expecting the release of Luckyman, the Kannada remake of Oh My Kadavule, in which the late Puneeth Rajkumar will be seen playing god, a role that Vijay Sethupati did in the original. The actor has also wrapped up the romantic comedy Mr Bachelor, by debutant director Naidu Bandar, in which he is paired with Nimika Ratnakar. Krishna’s wife, Milana Nagaraj, has a cameo in this film. The actor is also working on the romantic entertainer Dil Pasand by director Shivatejass, in which he teams up with Nishvika Naidu and Megha Shetty. Krishna’s Love Me or Hate Me is also a romantic drama, in which he joins Rachita Ram. The film directed by Deepak Gangadhar is ongoing.
