The King Khan of Bollywood always grabs his way up on top headlines with something or another. Lately, the superstar is garnering love and praise from all over the world for his extraordinary stint in Brahmastra starring Alia Bhat and Ranbir Kapoor. Not only fans but the critics and moviemakers are also talking about Shah Rukh Khan for his remarkable appearance in the Ayan Mukerji directorial. Reportedly, Darlings director Jasmeet K Reen is currently talking about roping SRK for one of her highly anticipated ventures.

The young filmmaker is basking immense praise and applause from the movie buffs and reviewers for her first directorial Darlings starring Alia and Shefali Shah. Although, apparently, she was supposed to kick start her direction career with lyricist-poet Sahir Ludhianvi’s biopic titled Gustakhiyan.

In a recent interview with Koimoi.com, Jasmeet mentioned, "There was another script that I wanted to make and that was I would say bigger budget and it wasn’t falling in place, for whatever reasons. The time was not right. But I wrote this (Darlings) script and this fell in place."

When asked about casting SRK in the biopic, the filmmaker shared, "I think Shah sir is fab, he can do anything. I believe he is magical, he is super talented.”

However, nothing is confirmed about Sahir Ludhianvi's biopic Gustakhiyan as of now. Meanwhile, Jasmeet is enjoying the success of Darlings, which also stars Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew, and is available to stream on Netflix.
