Darlings new promo: Alia Bhatt explains how 'disrespecting women is hazardous' in Netflix's latest video - watch

Alia Bhatt starrer Darlings is gearing up to release soon on Netflix. The dark comedy movie also stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew in pivotal roles. The makers dropped the trailer of the film last week, while now they are unveiling a few fun promo videos. 

The latest video sees Alia addressing the audience that how heels can be dangerous and disrespecting women can be hazardous for people. The fun montage begins with the actress saying, "Disrespecting woman can be harmful to you. Harmful, how? Like the heel of a sandal accidentally falling on your fingers."

Moving on, the video displays a few new sequences from the upcoming film featuring Alia, Shefali and Vijay.

Towards the end, the diva quirkily asks, "Feeling hurt, Darlings?" Meanwhile, a line flashes on the screen that says, "This love is Haanikaarak."

The trailer was released on July 25 that gained immense praise and love from the fans. The audience loved the mother-daughter duo portrayed by Shefali and Alia respectively and also the social message that is being showcased in the dark-comedy movie as the actresses stand up against domestic violence.

The official synopsis reads, "Badru, a strong-minded woman and her mother decide to take matters in her own hands when it comes to Badru's husband Hamza."

The OTT giant took the latest clip on its official Instagram handle and shared it with a special caption that reads, "Auraton ka apmaan karne waalo, bach ke. Ye video batayega kyun. #Darlings (sic)."

Darlings marks Alia's debut as a producer under the banner named Eternal Sunshine Productions. Meanwhile, the forthcoming flick is also backed by Gaurav Verma as well as Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment and 

The directorial debut by Jasmeet K Reen is all set to start streaming on Netflix on August 5.
