Darlings trailer Twitter reactions: Fans all praise for Alia Bhatt, Shefali Shah as a mother-daughter duo, appreciate the social message

The much-awaited trailer of the Alia Bhatt starrer Darlings is finally out. The highly anticipated Netflix original film also stars Shefali Shah, Vijay Varma and Roshan Mathew. 

Fans are going gaga over the latest video and have been loving the mother-daughter duo portrayed by Shefali and Alia respectively. Apart from that, the netizens are also praising the social message that is being showcased in the dark-comedy movie as the actresses stand up against domestic violence.

A fan shared the appreciation post for the trailer and also praised the social message in the film as Alia can be seen standing up for herself against her abusive husband. The tweet reads, "#darlingstrailer is perfect.....told nothing in the trailer....but the plot revolves around a women standing for her respect from her abusive husband....a story which will take you from places of laughter to places which are totally dark....#aliabhatt as usual gonna shine!!! The directorial debut by Jasmeet K Reen is all set to start streaming on Netflix on August 5.
