The excitement is palpable as Challenging Star Darshan's next, Kranti, is all set to release soon. It will hit theatres on Republic Day, January 26. Undoubtedly the biggest Kannada release currently, fans were recently treated to the fourth song from the film, titled Don't Mess With Him, which is Darshan's introduction song. The film also stars Rachita Ram, Samyukta Hornad, V Ravichandran, Nimika Ratnakar and P Ravishankar.

What is interesting to note is that each of the four songs that have been released so far were done at physical mega events in different parts of Karnataka, amid the presence of fans, who didn’t let go of the opportunity to shower love on their favourite star. In fact, at the recent song launch in Tumakuru for Don’t Mess With Him, some people from a large crowd even climbed trees and pillars at the venue just to be able to get a glimpse of Dasa Darshan. When the team of Kranti couldn't get off the bus they were in at the venue, Darshan had to climb on top of the bus and request his fans to make way for them.

In an interview with Cinema Express, Kranti director and music V Harikrishna said that such a large gathering and the excitement that Darshan manages to generate each and every time is proof of how much he is loved. Calling Darshan a “larger-than-life star who is still humble”, Harikrishna said that it is always special for him to compose a song for Darshan. Proof of this is the fact that the director-composer and actor duo has collaborated on 27 films so far, with several hit numbers to their credit. What’s worth noting is that Harikrishna did not take on another project after Yajamana, because he wanted to put in all his energy and effort into Kranti.

Produced by Shylaja Nag and B Suresha’s Media House Studios, and directed by V Harikrishna, Kranti, which stars Darshan, Rachita Ram, Nimika Ratnakar, Samyukta Hornad, V Ravichandran and P Ravishankar in pivotal roles, will release in theatres on January 26.
