Darshana song: Vineeth Sreenivasan thanks fans, as first track from Hridayam steals hearts

The team of Hridayam dropped its first song titled Darshana on Monday and the song became an instant hit among fans. Featuring Pranav Mohanlal and Darshana Rajendran, the song is a romantic track that calls for repeated listenings. 

Following the success and all the fanfare over the song, director Vineeth Sreenivasan has taken to social media to share his gratitude to the fans for making the song a hit. 

Taking to Instagram, the director shared a photo which thanked the fans for the “overwhelming response” he is receiving for the song. The director also shares details about the making of the song in the post.

He writes that the song was composed in July 2019 in a studio room in Hesham Abdul Wahab’s house, who has composed the music for the movie and also sung the song. 

Vineeth also shared that the audio cassettes for the songs from the movie will be released in January. 

Darshana, which is only one of the 15 tracks from the movie, also came with scenes featuring Pranav’s and Darshana’s characters in college, as romance starts to bloom between the two.

Written and directed by Vineeth, the movie also stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Aju Varghese, Arun Kurian and Vijayaraghavan among others. The movie is set to release in theatres in January 2022.
