Nani is gearing up to promote his upcoming release, Ante Sundaraniki, to the best of his potential. The film is nearly two months away from release and has generated good buzz among audiences with its promos, posters and the recently launched 'The Panchakattu song'. The actor is also simultaneously shooting for his action entertainer Dasara, directed by first-time filmmaker Srikanth Odela. Dasara is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under Sree Lakshmi Venkateswara Cinemas.
The makers claim it's the first pan-Indian project for Nani and the most expensive film in his career set to release in five languages - Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead in Dasara, while Samuthirakani, Sai Kumar, Zarina Wahab and others essay crucial roles. The lead actors of Dasara, Nani and Keerthy Suresh, have begun shooting for a song in Godavarikhani (Telangana) in Peddapalli district today.
Choreographer Prem Rakshit, the man behind Naatu Naatu in RRR, has come up with a terrific set of moves for a catchy number. The team's main challenge is to deal with the high temperatures and humidity in the region and yet they are giving it their best shot on the location. The song is being shot on a massive scale with nearly 500 dancers participating in the shoot. A glimpse from the film, Spark of Dasara, released to a fabulous response from netizens.
Dasara is an out-and-out action entertainer with a lot of intensity and will present Nani in a never-seen-before rustic avatar. The story is set amid the backdrop of Singareni coal mines in Godavarikhani. Santhosh Narayanan is composing the music for the film while Sathyan Sooryan ISC is the cinematographer. Navin Nooli is roped in as the editor while Avinash Kolla is the production designer of the film. Vijay Chaganti is the executive producer.
