Dasara: Nani sees new heights of stardom, scores his eight one million dollar film in the US

Dasara has become this big hit at the box office and has taken Nani to the next level in his career. He has been in the industry for over a decade and half and has given numerous hits. But Dasara was a different ball game altogether as it was made on a massive budget and was released Pan-India wide. The film had to click and boy, it has shocked one and all as it made 71 crores gross in just three days of its release.

What's special is that the film had als crossed the one million mark in the US with its Telugu version itself which is huge. With Dasara, Nani now has eight one million dollar hits in his kitty. Only Mahesh Babu, the super star, has eleven films which have achieved this feat in the US. This clearly shows what kind of a bankable star Nani is in the US market.

Nani has always been choosing different films time and again and has performed superbly in all his roles. Films like Bhale Bhale Magadivoi, Jersey, Ninnu Kori, MCA, Nenu Local, Eega, Ante Sundaraniki and Dasara have all clocked over one million in the US. This proves how consistent he has been with his films. Though some of his films didn't do well in India, in the US, they have done well.

Dasara is a Pan-India release and as the good word of mouth is spreading, the collections are also expected to grow in the days to come. Srikanth Odela has directed this film which had Keerthy Suresh and Deekshit Shetty in key roles. Sudhakar Cherukuri has produced this film and Santhosh Narayan has composed music. The film is set in the coal mines of Singareni, Telangana.
