Dasara is a film that Nani has pinned a lot of hopes on. It is Nani's costliest film to date and will showcase him in a never before seen avatar for the first time in his career. Debutante Srikanth Odela has turned director with this film which has been produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri on a massive budget.
The film is up for a release on the 30th of this month on a Pan-India level. Ahead of the film's release, the makers have applied for censors and it has obtained U/A certificate. The makers have also locked the runtime for two hours thirty six minutes and have received good feedback from the board members as per the news.
Dasara is a period drama set in the Singareni coal mines of Telangana from where the director hails. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead in this film which also has Shine Tom Chacko as the main villain. The music has caught on quite well and the trailer which was released yesterday has given the film a good buzz.
Nani will be seen as a drunkard named Dharani in this film which has music by Santosh Narayan. This is the second time that Nani is romancing Keerthy Suresh in his career after MCA. Dasara has been in the making for a long time now and needs to click as big money has been spent on this film.
