Dasvi posters: Abhishek Bachchan looks sturdy in pagdi; Nimrat Kaur looks worried as CM

After revealing the first look poster of Yami Gautam as an IPS officer, Abhishek Bachchan unveiled his look along with Nimrat Kaur from the upcoming film, Dasvi. The movie is touted to be a social comedy-drama, which is directed by Tushar Jalota.

Abhishek took Nimrat's first look poster to his social media handles, where the Lunch Box actress can be seen sitting on one of the most powerful chairs of the state as Chief Minister but looks quite worried. The post reads, "Mhari Bimmo kati jeher hain! Milliye humari dharam patni Bimla Devi Chaudhary se! #DasviTrailer will be out tomorrow at 11 am! #Dasvi (sic)."

Abhishek shared his look from the movie too, where he seems quite sturdy as a power-driven man in a turban. Sharing the poster, he wrote in his caption, "Chaudhrahat ki pagdi apni shaan hai, Ganga Ram Chaudhary humara naam hai. Kal aa rahe hain aap sab se milne trailer ke saath. #DasviTrailer out tomorrow at 11 am! #Dasvi"

The film is written by Ritesh Shah and produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner Maddock Films in collaboration with Jio Studios. The music is by Sachin–Jigar. Apart from Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur, the film also stars Arun Kushwah and Shivam Roy Prabhakar. 

The film is set to release on Netflix and JioCinema on April 7, 2022.
