After Amitabh Bachchan, it is Ajay Devgn who extended warm wishes to Prosenjit Chatterjee for his upcoming film, Dawshom Aubotaar. In the film directed by Srijit Mukherji, Prosenjit will be seen as Probir Roychowdhury – an iconic character from his film, Baishe Srabon. Billed as Tollywood’s first cop universe drama, the film also features Jisshu U Sengupta, Anirban Bhattacharya, and Jaya Ahsan. It will be released on October 19.
The film's trailer has already created a buzz. Ajay Devgn took a cue from his iconic character Singham and wrote, “Presenting #DawshomAWbotaar, the original Bengali Cop Universe. Best wishes from #Singham to #Probir.”
Dawshom's first look, when released, raised the expectation level of the audience. The trailer raised the bar to a higher level. Prabir and Bijoy Podder (Anirban) from Vinci Da will pair up in the story of love and revenge.
Srijit made the film by combining two films, Baishe Srabon and Dwitiyo Purush. Jisshu Sengupta is likely to play the villain, as indicated in the trailer.
Podder, played by Anirban Bhattacharya, will play Prosenjit’s assistant. The trailer shows his romantic moments with Jaya Ahsan.
