Dayaa on Hotstar: The trailer of JD Chakravarty, Pavan Sadineni web series is filled with intrigue and gripping drama

After the success of Save The Tigers and Shaitan, Hotstar is ready with its new original Dayaa. The crime thriller is directed by the super-talented Pavan Sadineni and has JD Chakravarthy making his OTT debut. The first-look posters and teasers created a lot of buzz for the series and the makers have unveiled the trailer which looks gripping and suspense-filled.

A popular TV anchor played by Ramya Nambeesan goes missing and a case is filed. On the other hand, JD Chakravarthy is shown as a van driver Dayaa who delivers fish. He gets the shock of his life when he sees a dead body in his van and is left clueless. All this is showcased in a gripping manner and JD's role gives the trailer a very intriguing feel.

The problems that Dayaa faces in handling the dead body, the cops going after him, and the nexus behind all this are showcased in a very gripping manner by Pavan Saidneni. The young director is known for his command of emotions and Pavan has given every character an edge. What stands out are the production values of the show which are top-notch. The BGM by Shravan Bharadwaj is amazing and takes the trailer to another level.

The trailer cut is slick and Viplav Nyshadam's editing looks sharp. Eesha Rebba plays the pregnant wife of JD Chakravarty. Kamal Kamaraju, Vishnupriya Bheemineni, and Josh Ravi play key roles in Dayaa. The makers have also revealed that Dayaa will start streaming on August 4, 2023. By the end of the trailer, director Pavan Sadineni also gives a hint that there is much more to Dayaa's character than shown in the trailer.

With such a promising backdrop and tense moments, Dayaa looks like one hell of a web series to watch out for. Shrikant Mohta, and Mahendra Soni produce this show which has some noted technicians doing key jobs. For now, the trailer has created a solid buzz for the show.
