DD Next Level Twitter review: Netizens call Santhanam’s horror comedy with ‘not a single good scene in the film’

DD Next Level, the horror comedy film which serves as the fourth part in the Dhilluku Dhuddu film franchise starring comedian-turned-actor Santhanam in the lead role, hit theatres on Friday. The film is written and directed by Prem Anand, who had also helmed DD Returns.

DD Next Level Twitter review: Santhanam’s horror comedy gets lukewarm response

After the successes of Dhilluku Dhuddu 1, Dhilluku Dhuddu 2, and DD Returns, actor-comedian Santhanam has starred in the fourth part of the film franchise. Titled DD Next Level, the horror comedy film released in theatres on May 16, Friday.

DD Next Level, directed by Prem Anand, stars Santhanam in the lead role, along with Santhanam, Geethika, Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Nizhalgal Ravi, Kasthuri, Redin Kingsley, Yashika Anand, Motta Rajendran, and Maran. The film is about a film critic who gets invited for a press screening of a film, only to be pulled into the film and has to save himself and his family before the end credits roll.

Upon its release, DD Next Level did not seem to be getting good reviews as the first three parts received. Netizens have been giving a lukewarm response to the film, which was released alongside Soori’s family drama Maaman. Here are social media reviews of DD Next Level
