While De De Pyaar De 2 passed the CBFC certificate with zero cuts, Ajay Devgn, Tabu, and Rakul Preet Singh starrer De De Pyaar De (2019) went through several changes. The CBFC, back then, removed the visuals of Rakul Preet Singh holding a bottle of liquor and replaced them with images of the actress holding flowers in her hands. In addition, two dialogues, which had double meanings, were also asked to be changed.
Meanwhile, De De Pyaar De 2 has become the second film of November 2025, after Emraan Hashmi and Yami Gautam's Haq, to pass the CBFC certificate with zero cuts.
