GV Prakash Kumar and Aishwarya Rajesh's DeAr is gearing up for its theatrical release. Glimpses of the comedy drama that is directed by Anand Ravichandran we're shown during a recent audio and trailer launch event. During the event, actor GV Prakash revealed why he became a part of the project. “At first, it was Aishwarya Rajesh who had suggested this script. When they were narrating the script, I began crying during the interval sequence. I immediately said yes to the project,” the Kalvan star revealed.

The actor revealed that the film deals with not one, but three couples, and the dynamics in their marital life. “The film centres around three couples and the issues that arise between them. I am sure the film will resonate with everyone,” the actor exclaimed.

Actor Ilavarasu, who plays a pivotal role in the film, feels that the film has a "matured subject" and deals with behavioural issues between newlywed couples.

Actress Rohini, who also has a prominent role in the film, revealed that the film’s live sound technology was something that attracted her to the project. “One interesting aspect about the film is that they have used live sound technology in the film. After Virumandi (2004), I got another opportunity to act in a live sound film. The technicians have done a great job in arranging the mix,” the actress said. She also added that she has been a fan of GV Prakash’s music and is now a fan of the person that he is.

DeAr is a laugh riot about snoring

The trailer, which was released earlier today, features GV Prakash as Arjun and Aishwarya as Deepika, who get married through an arranged marriage setup. Soon after their marriage the couple realise that Arjun is a light sleeper while Deepika is a heavy snorer. How their sleep issues affect their marital life forms the crux of the story.

Produced by Varun Tripuraneni, Abhishek Ramisetty and G Pruthviraj under the banner of Nutmeg Productions and Romeo Pictures, the film is slated to hit the big screens on April 11.
