Story:

Abhimanyu takes Asmita out on a date. She is then put in the spot to talk about his book. Will she spill all the details?

Review:

How do you know that Dear Ishq is back? With glimpses of Mumbai, of course! And soon, Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy is introduced in the girliest way possible – removing her make-up.

Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan appears on call before actually being seen. With his entry, the love story begins. The two share cute moments, which is visible with their laugh.

Kishwer Merchant’s Maya enters the scene with suspenseful music and you just wonder what is there to offer. There’s very less for her and Puneet Tejwani’s Peter, at least initially. They are the second name of drama with the scene given to them. The music, like always, doesn’t help in any way.

Roma Bali’s Nita and Sanjeev Seth’s Raman aka Abhimanyu’s parents are back. They are very much in their character and the overacting and drama doesn’t end.

The focus this time, thankfully, is on Asmita and Abhimanyu’s bond. Thanks to that, you have a cliffhanger ending that makes you crave to know what next.

Verdict:

Dear Ishq may have started like always but thankfully, the makers have finally started focusing on the lead characters. Thus, you see a lot of improvement in the story. As always, the end of the show leaves you gripped.
