Story:

A chapter from Abhimanyu’s book is leaked. How will he react to that? Is Asmita to be blamed?

Review:

Dear Ishq, thankfully, commences at the thrilling moment the last episode ended. Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy, Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan, Tanya Sharma as Shalini and Buneet Kapoor as Shauvik are seen in the scene.

What really happened though? The drama and suspense buildup is managed well in the scene. What happens later, though, isn’t very impressive. There’s only drama and nothing more. Everything since is expected. The music, the actions – you can see everything from miles away.

Kishwer Merchant’s Maya and Puneet Tejwani’s Peter are back in what is extremely expected. She, as always, is better than most.

Abhimanyu defending Asmita in an intense moment is everything in this episode. Him taking Peter on at the same time, once again, really works.

Shauvik flirting with Beena Banerjee’s Charulata is absolutely cute. Unfortunately, it is brief.

Kunal Verma’s Rizwan Khan, Vikas Grover as his boyfriend Anirban and Sugandh Dhindaw as Bani finally come back. Kunal and Niyati’s discussion works well. Of course, Abhimanyu and Asmita are the highlight of this episode too, to an extent.

Verdict:

Dear Ishq is finally on the right track. The story moves forward and leaves you intrigued rather than bored which proves that the show is actually doing well.
