Story:

Abhimanyu is conflicted in whether he should trust Asmita after he has been accused. Will she help him or turn away?

Review:

Dear Ishq commences the almost typical style – with Abhimanyu Razdan’s nameplate and a brief introduction to Sandeep Soni’s Nannu and Roma Bali and Sanjeev Seth as his parents Nita and Raman as Abhimanyu’s parents.

Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan is introduced soon after. He is intense as ever.

Kishwer Merchant’s Maya and Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy prove to be better than Puneet Tejwani’s Peter, of course. This time, Peter has a mysterious role once again.

Niyati is good but Sehban is great even this episode. Asmita’s scene with Abhimanyu will take you back to their hospital scene.

Buneet Kapoor’s Shauvik is thankfully back with Beena Banerjee’s Charulata. Their bond is still great and hilarious.

This is however nothing compared to Abhimanyu and Asmita’s bond. He is hiding a mystery which he reveals with both words and his eyes. The unnecessary music in their scene, of course, is a turn-off.

The end to this episode is vague and it only adds drama more than suspense. This has become a theme with the show, which would at give its viewers a cliffhanger towards the end of every episode previously.

Verdict:

Watch this episode only if you are a fan of Sehban Azim and want to probably root for Niyati Fatnani. Everything else is just drama.
