Story:

Asmita is out to find the real culprit in Arya’s death case. Will they be able to crack the case?

Review:

Dear Ishq begins exactly where the last episode ended. The harassment continues in the package of humour.

Of course, the glimpses of buildings are back for no apparent reason. Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy overacts while Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan works wonders again.

Kishwer Merchant’s Maya of course works better than Puneet Tejwani’s Peter. She is very clear with her intent which works in her favour, like always.

The changing of scenes through glimpses of Mumbai are back. There’s a mysterious scene which follows but doesn’t work too well because you don’t know if it’s hilarious, mysterious or comic.

Kunal Verma’s Rizwan Khan has a new graph again. Vikas Grover in the role of his boyfriend Anirban helps him in the same.

The music definitely doesn’t help but scenes being switched make the show worse. The real culprit is revealed this time and you might have only expected that to be the case.

The show ends with Asmita and Abhimanyu for no apparent reason. Given that they make the show but they do nothing to help the end of the episode.

Verdict:

When you hear about Dear Ishq, you expect romance. The makers tried to do something different by adding a mystery and then solving it. However, they tried to add romance out-of-the-blue, which works against the episode.
