Story:

Rumour Ramola comes to know about Abhimanyu Razdan-Asmita Roy’s affair and spills the tea. Will that affect the couple’s relationship?

Review:

Dear Ishq commences with Niyati Fatnani’s Asmita Roy and Sehban Azim’s Abhimanyu Razdan in glimpses. She, of course, is mainly about the drama.

Just as you try to sync in that scene, is when the mystery continues. As expected, it continues even as Abhimanyu Razdan’s nameplate takes all the limelight.

The mysterious music continues as the scene changes from romance to extreme drama. She, of course, is all about the drama while he impresses with his humour.

The romantic moment between Abhimanyu and Asmita is usually cute but this time, it barely leaves you impressed. It’s like the chemistry got missing out of thin air.

Puneet Tejwani is back as Peter and he’s just the same. Kishwer Merchant as Maya is at par with him, as expected.

Beena Banerjee as Asmita’s grandmom Charulata is absolutely wonderful. Right from her fashion to how she delivers her dialogues, this one is an absolute delight to watch.

Sehban as Abhimanyu is not as impressive as he generally is. The last scene, especially, leaves you confused.

Verdict:

Dear Ishq was banking on one thing – Abhimanyu and Asmita’s romance. In this episode, that has gone missing too. It is not as impressive as the previous romantic episodes.
