Dear Ishq could be something else if there wasn’t music in every instance.

Story:
Asmita wants a future and Abhimanyu doesn’t. Will they ever be able to come together despite that?
Review:
Dear Ishq episode 56 begins where the last ended. Niyati Fatnani nails the scene as Asmita Roy. This time, Sehban Azim lacks in the role of Abhimanyu Razdan.
Of course, soon after, the glimpses of Mumbai are back. Kunal Verma as Rizwan Khan is here and he can connect the dots. As an actor, he tends to overdo things but that somewhat works.
Buneet Kapoor as Shauvik shows his dual personality once again. That is impressive to an extent.
The makers changing scenes doesn’t work. Shifting from Rizwan to Shauvik really doesn’t work.
Coming to shifting, the glimpses are back between scenes for no reason at all.
Rizwan vs Abhimanyu is back. The former, of course, works better. Sehban, on the other hand, works better thanks to the music. There’s also a fight scene involving the two. That works well too.
Verdict:
Dear Ishq is not perfect still. Glimpses of Mumbai and the music especially tend to ruin the otherwise good performances by actors. This episode suffers the same fate.
