The actor said, "I had met Niyati when she was shooting with Karan Wahi for another show. She is a sweet girl. I've got to know more about her once we started working together on Dear Ishq."

When Sehban told Karan that he and Niyati would be working together, Karan was happy and told Sehban that she is a hardworking and supportive co-star.

"I was thrilled because that’s exactly what I wanted. We keep cracking jokes and having fun all the time. Many times we have had to cut the scene midway because Niyati and I would start laughing when we shouldn't. Abhimanyu (his character) is supposed to be a serious and stern guy," shared the actor.

Dear Ishq is a story of two completely opposite personalities, who unknowingly fall for each other. It is directed by Atif Khan and produced by Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik under the Beyond Dreams Entertainment Private Limited banner. The show is based on the book Write Me A Love Story written by Ravinder Singh.

Sharing details about the show, Atif had said, "Dear Ishq is a classic tale of hate-to-love. It is a love story, and I am sure that people will enjoy the ego clashes, fights and the process of understanding, and the love that will develop between the lead characters, Asmita and Abhimanyu."

The sizzling chemistry of Abhimanyu and Asmita is sure to grab eyeballs in the show.

Dear Ishq also stars Kishwer Merchant, Kunal Verma, Sanjeev Seth, Beena Banerjee and Vikas Grover. It is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
