Dear Ishq: Why did Sehban Azim almost refused to do an intimate scene?

Actor Sehban Azim, who portrays the male protagonist Abhimanyu in the web series Dear Ishq, revealed that he was hesitant to perform intimate scenes. However, the creative team convinced him to reconsider.

Initially, Sehban was conscious about such scenes, confessing that he is a little shy and lacks the reel experience to enact them. He said, "So, initially, I said no to it until my director and the creative convinced me."

The creative team explained that each scene is an essential part of the narrative and assured Sehban that they would make sure he was comfortable. They also ensured him that the scene would be shot aesthetically, with limited crew and experienced professionals, designed to make it easy for the actors.

Dear Ishq is the story of two opposite personalities who unknowingly fall in love. Directed by Atif Khan and produced by Yash Patnaik and Mamta Patnaik under the Beyond Dreams Entertainment Private Limited banner, the show is based on the book Write Me A Love Story by Ravinder Singh.

Sehban has previously appeared in popular TV shows such as Dill Mill Gayye, Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, Humsafars, Thapki Pyar Ki, Bepannaah, and Tujhse Hai Raabta.
