The makers of Deep Water, the psychological thriller starring Ben Affleck and Ana De Armas, have released a teaser for the movie. The film is set to go straight to multiple streaming services and has already caught the fans’ attention.

The teaser, which is only one minute and 18 seconds long, has not no flair but is eerie and immediately grabs the attention of the viewer. Affleck and Armas are lying down having a conversation and soon starts to get physical. While one would expect it to turn steamy and erotic, the conversation is anything but.

"There's something wrong with me, too", is Affleck’s final words in the trailer, which is a response to Armas saying there is something wrong with her. The trailer sets the pace for the movie and already has fans expecting a movie that would take them by surprise.

Adrian Lyne, who has previously helmed psychological thrillers such as Fatal Attraction and Jacob's Ladder is the director of Deep Water. Sam Levinson, who is working on the popular HBO series, Euphoria, has penned the script for the thriller along with Zach Helm.

Apart from the eye-catching Affleck and Armas, the movie also stars Tracy Letts, Lil Rel Howery, Dash Mihok, Finn Wittrock, Kristen Connolly, Jacob Elordi, Rachel Blanchard, Michael Braun, Jade Fernandez, Grace Jenkins, Brendan C. Miller, Devyn Tyler, and Jeff Pope in supporting roles. 

The movie is set to release on Hulu and Amazon Prime Video for Indian users. The official Twitter handle of the streaming platform shared the trailer and wrote, “a harmless idea is about to spiral down into a sea of troubles and afflictions. prepare to witness them who will be at the deep end of it”. The movie will start streaming on March 18, 2022.
