Actor Deepak Tijori who shot to fame in the nineties with hit films like Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Khiladi’, Aamir Khan starrer ‘Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar’, Aamir Khan starrer ‘Dil hai ke Maanta Nahin’ and others, gradually ventured into filmmaking. Speaking of filmmaking, Deepak Tijori, a few montsh back, had announced his film 'Tipppsy'. teh actor-filmmaker has now lodged a police complaint against the film's co-producer Mohan Gopal Nadar. The case has been registered at Amboli Police Station in Mumbai, as per a report in Indian Express.
The said report stated that the Mumbai Police had registered a case against Mohan Gopal Nadar under the IPC sections 406 (criminal breach of trust) and 420 (cheating and dishonesty inducing delivery of property) and that the cops have now initiated a probe into the matter. The report further stated that, as per the Mumbai Police, deepak tijori had said that Mohan Gopal Nadar had joined him to co-produce a thriller film called ‘Tipppsy’, which Deepak Tijori was supposed to direct. The report also stated that Deepak Tijori had told the police that since film was scheduled to be shot in London in 2019, he had entrusted Mohan Gopal Nadar with Rs 2.60 crores. But when Deepak saw that the film was not being completed in the stipulated time, he had asked for repayment of his money, which was dodged by Mohan Gopal Nadar citing various excuses.
In the FIR filed by Deepak Tijori at the Amboli Police Station, it has been reported that Deepak Tijori had claimed that the cheques which had been provided by Mohan Gopal Nadar reperated ly stated bouncing. Let with no other option, that’s when Deepak Tijori had decided to file a police complaint against Mohan Gopal Nadar. The news report about this matter also stated that the police officer in charge at the Amboli Police Station said that, while they have started the investigation, there have been no arrests which have been made so far.
