Deepika, Kiara, Kriti, Janhvi, and Murnal Thakur getting big bucks for Telugu films, deets inside

Telugu cinema is shining bright these days and thanks to films like RRR and Baahubali, the world is looking at talent in Tollywood. Well, things have changed in the recent past as some big names like Alia Bhatt have acted in Telugu films. Now, star heroines like Deepika Padukone, Kiara Advani, Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Kriti Sanon are all doing direct Telugu films.

Mrunal Thakur made it big with Sita Ramam which was a big hit at the box office. Now, she is having three films in her kitty and is charging 1.5 to 2 crores per film. Janhvi Kapoor has also signed the dotted line for the NTR-Koratala Siva film and will begin shooting soon. She has been paid a whopping 4 crores which is the highest in her career so far.

Kiara Advani made her Telugu debut with Mahesh Babu's film and now is doing a film with Ram Charan. She is getting the same 4 crores as her fee for the Shankar directorial. Coming to Kriti Sanon, she has been paid six crores for Prabhas' Adipurush as it has been shot in both Hindi and Telugu at the time. The film will release on the 16th of June 2023.

Alia Bhatt was paid five crores for her cameo in RRR. Her presence made a world of good to the film and now it is also in the Oscar race. But the biggest deal of all is for Deepika Padukone. The star heroine, who is high on the success of Shahrukh Khan's Pathan, will make her Telugu debut with Prabhas's Project K. As per the news, the makers, Vyjayanthi Movies have paid her a whopping 15 crores for the Nag Ashwin film.

Seeing all this, one can understand that Bollywood beauties are demanding big money to be part of Telugu films. The makers, on the other hand, have no problems paying them big money as the market they create for Telugu films goes to another level altogether. There are so many heroines who started their careers with Telugu cinema and made it big in Hindi. Now times have changed as big stars are not thinking one bit to do Telugu films.
