Deepika Padukone has finally watched Vikrant Massey's 12th Fail, following Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, and Hrithik Roshan, and she expressed her thoughts on the movie on Instagram. On Tuesday, Alia posted a poster for 12th Fail on her Instagram Stories, expressing her admiration for the movie and her feelings after seeing it. Now, Deepika agrees with Alia's review of the movie, saying she couldn't agree more.

Vikrant Massey starrer 12th Fail became a sleeper hit just a few days after its debut. Deepika Padukone praised the team behind the Vidhu Vinod Chopra film as moviegoers showered the film with appreciation for their masterwork.

The biographical drama film 12th Fail was released in theatres on October 27, 2023. The movie didn't get a lot of attention at first, but after its OTT debut, viewers began to notice the high caliber of its content. The entire cast of the film has pleased even Deepika Padukone. Sending her best wishes their way, the actress tweeted Alia Bhatt's movie review on social media, saying, “I couldn’t agree more! Congratulations to the entire cast and crew.”

Yesterday, Alia Bhatt shared the poster of the film on her Instagram stories and praised the performances of Vikrant Massey, Anant V Joshi, and Medha Shankr. She wrote, “One of the most beautiful films I have seen in a while! With such fabulous performances. Just too too too beautiful! @vikrantmassey you were SO SO spectacular I am in awe! @medhashankr heart and soul of Manoj’s journey. so special and fresh and all things heartwarming! @anantvjoshi outstanding!”

What is 12th Fail about?

The film tells the life story of Manoj Kumar Sharma, a man who persisted in the face of extreme poverty to train as an officer in the Indian Police Service. In addition to Vikrant and Medha, important parts are played by Anant V Joshi, Anshumaan Pushkar, and Priyanshu Chatterjee.
