Proudly, she is also the founder of ‘82°E’ - a skincare brand that sells products made using traditional Indian ingredients. Via an Instagram post, Vogue India bashed out a skincare product named ‘Pantone’ which allegedly does not cater to those born with brown skin. Vogue even mentioned that Pantone is ‘not a friend to Indian complexions.’
Appreciating the stand taken by Vogue India, Deepika Padukone dropped a comment on the post which read, “I couldn’t agree more!”
Unfortunately, in some parts of the world, dark-skinned people are often disregarded than those born with lighter-skinned ones.
