Today is a special day for all Indians! On October 8 (today), India is celebrating the Indian Air Force Day with full pride and gusto. Notably, this year marks the 91st anniversary of this day. To make this day extra special, world-famous actors Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and the team of their upcoming movie ‘Fighter’ shared a post that salutes the courage and valor displayed by the armed forces on a daily basis.

If you observe, the post is embedded with the main soundtrack of the movie ‘Fighter’. The exact name of the track is not known yet. However, it is evident that the song draws its inspiration from the patriotic poem ‘Vande Mataram’. This poem was composed by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee in the 1870s. The first two verses of the poem were adopted as the National Song of India in October 1937.

About the Indian Air Force Day
The Indian Air Force is celebrating its 91st anniversary today. Today afternoon, the IAF officially unveiled its new ensign at the annual Air Force Day parade held in Prayagraj (a city in the Indian State of Uttar Pradesh) on Sunday to better reflect its values, 72 years after a similar exercise was undertaken.
"October 8 will go down as a momentous day in the annals of IAF history. On this historic day, the Chief of Air Staff will unveil the new IAF ensign," the IAF said in a press statement.
