With just two days left until the theatrical release of Fighter, the film's creators are vigorously promoting it, sparing no effort in generating anticipation. This afternoon, the makers of the film dropped a behind-the-scenes video from the film, capturing how filmmaker Siddharth Anand shot the film with precision and concentration. Not only this, but Deepika Padukone shared how she felt working with Siddarth Anand again after collaborating on projects namely Bachna Ae Haseeno and Pathaan.

We know that in January 2021, the official announcement revealed Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan as the lead actors, marking their first collaboration in a film. Hrithik Roshan takes on the role of Patty, an air force officer, describing his character as "young, spontaneous, and short-tempered." Deepika Padukone also portrays an air force officer, featuring in various action sequences throughout the film. To prepare for their roles, both these stars underwent martial arts training.
Describing her journey on the film sets, Deepika Padukone said, “There is patriotism. There is entertainment. There is drama. It is funny. There is romance. I feel the adrenaline. I feel it is a wholesome entertainer. If I summarize my experience in one word, I feel ‘pride’.”
What is special about Fighter?
Fighter is an upcoming action film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures. The movie features Deepika Padukone, Hrithik Roshan, and Anil Kapoor and marks the inaugural installment in a planned aerial action franchise.
The storyline incorporates references to the 2019 Pulwama attack, the 2019 Balakot airstrike, and the 2019 India–Pakistan border skirmishes. Comprising five songs, the film's soundtrack album is composed by the duo Vishal–Shekhar, while Satchith Paulose serves as the cinematographer.
Originally slated for a theatrical release on September 30, 2022, Fighter faced delays due to production issues. Its new release date is set for January 25, 2024, coinciding with the Republic Day weekend.
