Mid-Day reported that Deepika Padukone was offered two big projects of Maddock Films, expanding StreeVerse. She has reportedly been offered the role of a mysterious Bengali ghost named Shaakhchuni.

The report suggested that the role is powerful, eerie, and central. Not only this, but also Deepika was offered a large-scale fantasy epic. Meanwhile, Deepika has shown interest in both the ideas but has kept everything strictly professional, asking the team for the complete script before signing anything.
